There are thousands of estate agents in the area. Choosing the right one for your home can be difficult. One approach is to ask them questions about what they plan to do and how they will get it done.
1. Do you work full-time as a Realtor?
2. Do you specialize in any area or segment of the market?
3. What kind of promotional material would you prepare for my home?
5. What types of buyers might be likely to buy my home? How do you plan to reach them?
6. What is your follow-up system and how often will you update me?
7. In which multiple listing services will my property appear?
9. Do you have any assistants to closely follow-up on details and help with the marketing of my home?
10. What methods have you successfully used to sell your listings?
11. What do you believe my property will sell for? How did you arrive at that price?
12. Do you have a list of references?
13. Which areas do you cover personally and how do you provide service to other areas?
14. Are you familiar with creative aspects of real estate, including financing, investments and tax deferred exchanges?
